FIELD: telemedicine.
SUBSTANCE: telecommunication medical system is proposed for remote treatment of patients with acute cerebrovascular accidents, which includes a local telemedicine device that is equipped with an interconnected processing unit, a patient diagnostic data transmission unit, and a network signal exchange unit. The local telemedicine device is additionally equipped with an interconnected unit for conducting a teleconference session, a unit for recording the results of the initial examination, a unit for bedside assessment of ACVA severity, a video recording unit, a unit for creating DICOM files of computed tomography images, and a unit for selecting the starting destination. The system additionally includes a remote telemedicine device connected by a telemetric communication channel with a local telemedicine device, and a module for maintaining a registry of patients with stroke, connected to local and remote telemedicine devices. The remote telemedicine device is equipped with an interconnected unit for conducting a teleconference session, configured to broadcast the video signal received from the local telemedicine device, a signal quality assessment unit, a unit for measuring the time of the teleconference session, a unit for remote assessment of ACVA severity on the NIHSS scale, a video recording control unit on the local telemedicine device, a unit for preparing a conclusion based on the results of a teleconference session, a unit for reading DICOM files of computed tomography images, a network signal exchange unit, and a module for maintaining a register of patients with ACVA is equipped with an interconnected unit for recording the results of a teleconference session and a memory unit for the patient’s medical data.
EFFECT: expanded functionality of the telemedicine system for remote treatment of patients with symptoms of ACVA.
