FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information and telecommunication technologies in medicine, namely to telemedicine technologies. Disclosed is a method for monitoring patients with acute cerebrovascular accident, which includes the following steps: recording the patient's primary data, including the primary examination data, the computed tomography of the patient's brain and the bedside assessment of the severity of ACVA according to the NIHSS, on a local telemedicine device equipped with a remotely controlled video camera; said primary data are transmitted to a remote telemedicine device and establishing a video conferencing session between the local and remote telemedicine devices not later than two hours from the patient's admission; receiving audiovisual data from a video camera of the local telemedicine device on the remote telemedicine device; quality of received audiovisual data is assessed by point rating scale, and if the quality score of the received audiovisual data is in the range of "3" to "5", then based on the received audiovisual data, a visual remote assessment of the severity of the ACVA is carried out on the NIHSS scale; comparing the results of remote and bedside assessment on the NIHSS scale, and taking into account the comparison of the assessment results, the patient is diagnosed, wherein depending on the diagnosis, a set of medical measures is prescribed for the management of the patient with signs of ACVA in next 24 hours, and one of the drug treatment regimens is selected and applied; generating a conclusion based on the results of the video conferencing session and entering data from the generated conclusion into the register for monitoring the patients with signs of ACVA; repeat one or more video conferencing sessions until patient's condition stabilization or complete recovery, wherein during repeated sessions of video conferencing at least partially repeating actions of method, starting with evaluation of quality of video conferencing.
EFFECT: invention provides monitoring of a patient with ACVA using telemedicine technologies.
