SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a shelf support device suitable for reversible connection of a shelf with opposite ends of a piece of furniture. Shelf support device for reversible connection of the shelf to the ends of a piece of furniture by means of a rod connected to the shelf and configured to protrude from the edge of the shelf and to be inserted into the corresponding receiving hole formed on the end of the piece of furniture, contains the main element with which the movable guide is in sliding connection with the rod. Shelf support device is configured to be inserted within the thickness of the shelf and movable guide with rod is made with possibility of sliding relative to main element along sliding direction between first non-working position, in which the rod does not protrude from the shelf, and the second working position, in which the rod protrudes outside the shelf. Shelf support device comprises movable guide actuators and movement transmitting devices suitable for conversion of actuator movement into translational movement along sliding direction of movable guide. Device further includes a spiral spring between the movable guide and the main element, which is configured to push the guide forward. Movable guide and rod represent two separate parts connected to each other by means of interconnection.
EFFECT: providing simple and fast mounting and dismantling of the shelf in relation to the ends of the piece of furniture.
