SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a fastening element for fixing a shelf to an inner surface of a compartment of a piece of furniture, a set of components comprising a fastening element, and to a method for assembling the shelf and the fastening element. Fastening element for fixing a shelf to an inner surface of a compartment of a piece of furniture comprises a flexible element passing in a cantilever manner and equipped with a locking tooth at its free end. Side surface of the shelf is equipped with a cavity which is vertical and has a hole facing downwards and a lower stop on the downward-facing hole. Fastening element is configured to be inserted inside the cavity through said downward-facing hole so that the locking tooth engages with the said stop to prevent the flange from lifting relative to the said inner surface.
EFFECT: providing fixation of the shelf relative to the piece of furniture.
