FIELD: textile industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to mesh structures from textile materials and methods for their production, and can be used as reinforcing elements of articles made from polymer composite materials in machine building, in space and aviation equipment, in structural elements of aircraft airframe and car bodies. Mesh structure of thread contains interconnected cells of different shapes and sizes, located in any sequence, in any order, which are obtained by threading, on a water-soluble material-base of the cells of the sides and their intersections by an embroidery machine with a processor program control, in accordance with the mesh structure pattern stitching algorithm, and the number of stitching layers of each cell side, which is formed in the computer software, wherein the mesh structure is configured to dissolve the base material after the entire pattern of the mesh structure is sewn, all sides of cells of the mesh structure have the same thickness, due to the same number of layers-stitches of each side of the cell with a thread along the entire area of the mesh structure. Method of making a mesh structure, including making a mesh structure along a given pattern trajectory, which is carried out in accordance with an algorithm developed in computer software, and entered as a file into an embroidery machine processor.

EFFECT: invention discloses a mesh structure and a method of making said structure.
