FIELD: liquid atomisation or spraying devices.

SUBSTANCE: heater assembly for the aerosol-generating device comprises heating chamber (14) for heating the aerosol-forming substrate, first set of current collectors (16), made with possibility of heating first heating zone (20) of heating chamber, and second set of current collectors (18) configured to heat second heating chamber (22). First heating zone and the second heating zone are located in different longitudinal positions of the heating chamber. Current collectors can be installed on the ribbed common support base (30) and not come into physical contact with each other. Current collectors from second set (18) can be longer than from first set (16), and have the shape of a paddle type with leg (46) and heating surface (50).

EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the amount of energy consumed by the heater assembly, selectively heat a certain heating zone from a plurality of heating zones, to reduce heat transfer between different heating zones and to reduce thermal mass of current collector (susceptor).
