SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in preparation for kidney transplantation. Selective occlusion of the artery is performed to level of 15 mm, proximal to the division of the first-order artery. Occlusion is followed by a delayed nephrectomy of the graft.

EFFECT: method provides complete vascular isolation of the removed kidney at the specified level, which in turn makes it possible to identify the renal artery in cicatrical tissues during its dissection, allows to avoid postoperative bleeding along drains, formation of postoperative hematoma, and also to reduce the need for intra- and postoperative hemotransfusion, avoiding the severe postoperative period in the patients with nephrogenic anemia with underlying end-stage chronic renal failure, preparing the retroperitoneal space and vessels for the subsequent transplantation.
