FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to main line transportation of natural gas and can be used in conditions of reduced load to control the process of cooling compressed gas during operation of multi-shop compressor stations. In the current scheme of the three-shop compressor station, three inlet with pipeline valves and three outlet reversible inter-shop jumpers with bypass gas lines are mounted, pipeline fittings and ejectors between inlet gas pipelines to gas air coolers (AC) of the first and second shops, the first and the third shops, the second and the third shops, as well as outlet gas pipelines from AC of the first and second shops, the first and the third shops, the second and the third shops. Shop groups of AC are switched to the operating mode "with the first fan in the direction of gas movement switched on".

EFFECT: reduction of hydraulic losses and reduction of energy losses on the linear section of the main gas pipeline between two compressor stations with simultaneous reduction of electric power costs.
