FIELD: production of fertilizers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of slow-acting mineral nitrogen-containing fertilizers used in agriculture, specifically to a method of producing granular NPK fertilizer with prolonged action with a sulfur coating. Method consists in the fact that fertilizer granules heated in plate granulator are coated with a mixture of sulfur and stearin, prepared with intensive mixing of their melts, at a ratio of sulfur to stearin of 97:3 and with a weight fraction of coating of 40 wt.% of the total weight of the granules.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain NPK fertilizer granules having a uniform sulfur coating with a prolonged dissolution effect for a period of up to 6 months.
