FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nitrogen-containing materials and articles based thereon, particularly to methods of producing volumetric articles by selective laser melting of articles which are resistant in a wide temperature range. Method of making a volumetric article from a nitrogen-doped high-entropy alloy includes steps of: preparing a three-dimensional computer model of the article, its dimensions are set taking into account possible shrinkage and warpage, it is divided into layers, and spherical powder CrCoFeNiMn-N with particle size of 20–60 mcm is loaded into the hopper of the installation. Printing process is carried out at the following technological parameters: layer thickness of 0.05 mm, distance between laser passes 0.12 mm, laser power 100–350 W, scanning speed 400–650 mm/s, volume density of energy 26–146 J/mm3. Printed product is subjected to hot isostatic pressing at temperature of 1,100–1,200 °C, pressure 120-160 MPa, for 3–6 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining a volumetric article from a high-entropy alloy, alloyed with nitrogen with a uniform distribution of elements in the volume of the article with a relative density of not less than 99,7%, ultimate strength of not less than 1,200 MPa, yield point of not less than 1,000 MPa, relative elongation of not less than 20% at -196 °C, ultimate strength of at least 450 MPa, yield point of at least 400 MPa, relative elongation of at least 25% at 600 °C.
