FIELD: chemistry; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to chemical engineering and can be used in reactor-regenerator units of installations, mainly for catalytic cracking. Regenerator of catalytic cracking unit includes housing with drain funnel, hot air inlet device and coked catalyst inlet assembly, which is a branch pipe with rectangular openings distributed along the side surface with the same angular pitch, a baffle plate. Parallel plates are attached to vertical edges of openings on outer sides, between which in upper part, perpendicular to their side surfaces, there are flat partitions. Between rectangular windows on the branch pipe there are round holes arranged in vertical rows. Diameters of holes in rows increase from lower row to upper one. Above the holes there are flat visors attached to the branch pipe. On the lower surface of the baffle plate there are triangular ribs connected to each other in the centre of the baffle plate. Round cross-section pins are arranged between ribs.
EFFECT: disclosed catalytic cracking unit regenerator design allows efficient catalyst regeneration due to uniform distribution of coked catalyst particles and prevention of stagnation zones formation.
