FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves harvesting a snail with fast maintenance for at least two days, freezing at a temperature of −1 to −25 °C with subsequent separation of the snail body from the shell. Snails of the genus Helix are harvested, wherein the starvation is not less than two days with simultaneous washing with water at a temperature of not more than +37 °C with a frequency of at least 2 times a day. Then freezing is carried out at a temperature of −1 to −25 °C, followed by thawing and mechanical extraction of the snail body from the shell, separation of the fillet and further preservation of production wastes by drying with the process exposure, determined by temperature on the surface of the product of not more than +100 °C, until obtaining a constant mass, and subsequent grinding by means of grinding in the range from coarse to fine from 0.1 to 0.005 mm. Thus, a biologically active product is obtained.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a biologically active product from heliciculture wastes containing complete protein in a complex with mineral substances and vitamins.
