FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery. After elimination of the stoma, the stoma wound is washed with 0.05% aqueous chlorhexidine solution. Peritoneum is closed with an absorbable continuous suture. Two ends of absorbable suture 25 cm long are left free to apply two Z-shaped sutures on the aponeurosis muscles. Ends of the absorbable suture are tightened to eliminate the cavity between the peritoneum and the muscular-aponeurotic layer. Silicone tube with outer diameter of 0.5 cm and length of 10 cm to 15 cm is inserted into the wound. Vacuum drainage of the stoma wound is performed.
EFFECT: method enables eliminating the residual cavity, eliminating seroma development, achieving postoperative wound healing by primary intention, preventing postoperative complications.
