SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrasound diagnostics for detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. Device for examination of mammary glands with cicatrical changes during ultrasonic examination in 3D-format by ABUS system is made in the form of oval container, made of an elastic synthetic material filled with physiological saline in amount of 100–200 ml. Container is configured to create a contact between the area with cicatrical changes in the mammary gland and the surface of the C15-6XW sensor when placed on said zone and performing an ultrasonic examination of mammary glands.

EFFECT: use of this invention will make it possible to increase information value of ultrasonic examination of breast pathology when examining hard-to-reach areas with cicatrical changes after organ-preserving operations, as well as after radical removal of mammary gland with regional lymphatic outflow areas.
