FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mastology. Performing stereotactic vacuum aspiration biopsy under X-ray control. Thereafter, a light guide with a cylindrical scattering lens is introduced through the working channel of the biopsy probe needle into the area of the performed intervention. Coagulation of the cavity is performed under X-ray control with laser radiation with wavelength of 1561 nm and power of 16 W for 13 s, by automatic rotation of the biopsy needle-probe along the circumference of the cavity formed in the breast tissues after the performed stereotactic vacuum aspiration biopsy. Then assessment of haemostasis and efficiency of laser radiation is carried out after extraction of biopsy needle-probe by means of final X-ray image.
EFFECT: method enables to achieve stable haemostasis in the area of intervention after vacuum aspiration biopsy and when removing benign breast growths under X-ray control, which enables to reduce compression time to 16-24 hours and provides a more comfortable period of early rehabilitation, as well as enables to achieve uniform coagulation without gross destruction of underlying tissues and prevent the formation of hematomas.
