SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the level of atmospheric air pollution by motor transport. Concentration of contaminants is measured using a gas analyzer installed at the edge of the roadway at a height of not more than 0.5 m from the level of the roadway. Measurements are taken for 25 minutes from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Measurement results are used to determine average concentrations of pollutants, taking into account only non-zero values of concentrations. Based on the obtained data, an integral indicator of atmospheric air pollution by motor transport is calculated.

EFFECT: improving efficiency, simplifying and reducing time expenditures when determining the level of atmospheric air pollution by motor transport.
