SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gastroenterology. It can be used for detection of disturbances of obturator function of lower oesophageal sphincter during smoking of electronic cigarettes. Gastroesophageal refluxes before and after inhalation of the aerosol contained in the electronic cigarette are determined by fasting pH-impedance measurement of the oesophagus and stomach. Increase in the number of said parameter by 25% and more indicates the presence of violations, an increase of less than 25%, a decrease or absence of dynamics indicates the absence of violations.

EFFECT: method provides fast assessment of nicotine action on lower oesophageal sphincter.
