SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in seed growing. Method for reproduction of self-incompatible plants of radish consists in the fact that root crops are selected according to approbation characteristics characteristic of the genotype. Then, according to the degree of their immersion in tap water, mother plants are selected for transplantation on the hybridization site and brought to bloom. At the moment of the beginning of blooming of the first flowers flowering plants are treated with aqueous solution of sodium chloride in concentration from 3 to 6%. Pollination is carried out 20–40 minutes after treatment.
EFFECT: invention provides higher yield of high-quality seeds from one radish plant.
