FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic spirograph comprises a measuring tube with two outward branches, located obliquely relative to the respiratory flow direction, at an angle equal to 30° to measuring tube longitudinal axis, in each branch there is one ultrasonic sensor, flow rate calculation unit, which is connected to control unit, amplifier, each of the ultrasonic sensors is connected to the generator, each generator is connected to the control unit, wherein the first ultrasonic sensor is connected to the first generator, to the first diode limiter, first diode limiter output is connected to series-connected first amplifier, first comparator, first timer and flow rate calculation unit, second ultrasonic sensor is connected to second generator, to second diode limiter, second diode limiter output is connected to series-connected second amplifier, second comparator, second timer and flow rate calculation unit, wherein the second input of each comparator is connected to the reference voltage source, the device further comprises a temperature sensor located in the measuring tube and connected to the flow rate calculation unit, wherein ultrasonic sensors can operate in combined mode using time-pulse method.
EFFECT: simpler design of the measuring tube, higher measurement accuracy and wider range of measured velocities.
