SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology. Values of the average urine flow rate are determined by uroflowmetry, the difference in the width of the urethra at rest and during straining according to pelvic floor ultrasound and results of molecular-genetic typing of gene polymorphisms of oestrogen receptor alpha ESR in locus 351 with subsequent calculation of prognostic index X by formula: X = -7.9285 * x1 + 0.2587 * x2 + 0.4650 * x3 - 3.8844, where: X is a prognostic index of the effectiveness of the applied method, x1 is the difference in the width of the urethra at rest and during straining according to the ultrasonic examination of the pelvic floor and lower urinary tract, cm, x2 is the average urine flow rate according to uroflowmetry, ml/s, x3 is carriage of genotype GG gene ESR1:-351, - 3.8844 is constant value. If X<0, a positive outcome of the surgical treatment is predicted by the method of urethropexy with a free synthetic loop in combination with the repair of cystocele with own tissues in postmenopausal women with SUI.

EFFECT: method enables predicting the efficacy of the method of urethropexy by the free synthetic loop combined with self-tissue repair of cystocele in women with stress urinary incontinence combined with postmenopausal cystocele – patient’s satisfaction with the surgical treatment.
