FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for treating the surface of wooden articles. Apparatus for treating the surface of wood articles with low-temperature plasma flows includes a water-cooled heat flux concentration chamber, plasma generator of indirect action and power supply. Plant further comprises a rectangular cross-section soot cleaning chamber with end covers of the same size and an air cleaning system, as well as a roller conveyor configured to supply treated wood products from the water-cooled heat flux concentration chamber to the soot cleaning chamber. Water-cooled heat flux concentration chamber and the soot cleaning chamber are located in close proximity to each other. On the outer side of the dome of the soot cleaning chamber there is an electric motor which drives the brush rotatable about its axis to remove soot. At the bottom of the soot cleaning chamber there is a funnel connected to the air cleaning system, through which the removed soot is drawn together with the air flow into the air cleaning system.

EFFECT: improved appearance and general quality of wood, minimized manual labor without harm to human health and environment, expanded range of technical means.
