FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biodegradable polymer composition with antimicrobial properties and can be used for the production of various industrial, household and medical products, including packaging materials, plates, fibres, foam materials, moulded articles, adhesives, household goods, passenger vehicle interiors and many other special articles. Biodegradable polymer composition with antimicrobial properties for articles based on polyolefins, which are linear low-density polyethylene and low-density polyethylene, contains antimicrobial component zinc pyrithione, as well as polyisobutylene and polyethylene glycol components and additionally contains a filler such as starch, sucrose, wt.%: zinc pyrithione 3–5, starch 3–20, saccharose 3–20, polyisobutylene 1–15, polyethylene glycol 1–15, polyolefins are the rest up to 100%.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to expand the spectrum of antimicrobial activity of the polymer material, that is, to provide the necessary and sufficient antimicrobial and anti-yeast activity, as well as in improving functional properties during production of packaging polymer materials for food products while maintaining high biodegradability of the polymer composition during production of packaging material.
