FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: to achieve the technical result, an automatic frequency control device is proposed, comprising a magnetron, a directional coupler, a first mixer, a frequency synthesizer, a second mixer, heterodyne input of the second mixer is connected to the output of the receiving part of the receiving path, and a narrow-band intermediate frequency filter.
EFFECT: frequency stabilization of the received signal in accurate measuring transceivers using sources of powerful signals, for example magnetrons, having output frequency instability in time, which enables to use bandpass filters (BPF) with a narrower bandwidth and a large squareness coefficient, which, in turn, makes it possible to increase suppression of harmonic and non-harmonic components outside the signal processing band and to keep the intermediate frequency (IF) of the signal at one point of the IF BPF frequency response.
