FIELD: rail vehicles; physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for control of coefficient of friction of car wheels before breaking up of a train on a hump yard. Device comprises base (1) attached to rail (2) on its outer side. On the surface of base (1) there is link (3), on which the first pressure force measurement sensor is installed. One end of link (3) is hinged to base (1). At the other end of link (3) three-arm lever (4) with arms of equal length is installed with possibility of rotation. Roller (5.1-5.3) with built-in sensor (6) measuring moment of resistance to roller rotation is installed at each end of arm of three-arm lever (4). On base (1) there is fixed means (8) for removal of contaminants from the surface of rollers (5.1-5.3) and reference sample (9), elastically interacting with fixed element (10). On reference sample (9) there is a second pressure force measurement sensor. First and second pressure force sensors and sensor (6) for measuring the moment of resistance to roller rotation are connected to the input of the microcontroller. Outputs of the microcontroller are connected to control device of three-arm lever rotation mechanism (4) and to the data transmission network for interaction with the car breaking-up control system. Link (3) resiliently interacts with one more fixed element to provide pressing of rollers (5.1-5.3) to car wheel (13), to the contaminant removal element (8) and to reference sample (9).
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of monitoring the coefficient of friction of car wheels before breaking-up of a train on a hump yard.
