SUBSTANCE: system includes means for controlling and monitoring floor devices, a means for identifying movable units and counting axles and cars, a device for cleaning surfaces of car wheelsets, an operator's workstation computer, a sensor for fixing the passage of a car wheel through the heater impact area, a device for detecting fuel oil-contaminated surfaces of car wheelsets, a sensor of another car wheelset location in the working area of the device for cleaning car wheels. The device for detecting fuel oil-contaminated wheelset surfaces consists of a directional heater intended for heating monitored wheel surface areas, infrared temperature sensors, and a microcontroller.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and reliability of detecting and cleaning wheel sets with the fuel oil-contaminated surface.
