FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry, and is intended for use in case of insufficient volume of attached mucosa around artificial crown installed on dental implant. Under infiltration anaesthesia in the area of installed intraosseous dental implants with an insufficient area of attached keratinized gingiva after extraction of individual gingival cuff formers to preserve dental papillae two converging incisions are made with a scalpel to the periosteum from the medial and distal teeth. Then, the implant eruption profile is changed, and two semilunar incisions are made parallel to the alveolar bone at depth of 3–4 mm at a distance from the implant shaft by 1–3 mm, creating a split flap. Mobilized gingiva is pressed by the orthopaedic structure into the full anatomy and placed vestibularly and orally from the prefabricated orthopaedic structure with the subgingival goblet shape within the implants. After 10–14 days, the eruption profile is restored with an expanded volume of the attached keratinized gingiva from a natural pale pink colour. When making a bridge prosthesis supported by several dental implants, the incisions are continued along the crest of the alveolar process along the vestibular and lingual surfaces in the projection of the future intermediate portion of the bridge prosthesis to the incision boundaries of the next implant.

EFFECT: due to creation of conditions for prevention of peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis, method allows increasing efficiency of prosthetics on dental implants, reducing injuries and technical complexity of additional surgical intervention.
