FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a magnetic shield from 80NCA alloy using additive technologies. It can be used in instrument making. Selective laser fusion (SLF) of atomized powder of alloy 80NCA with dispersion of less than 80 mcm is carried out in layers according to preliminary designed CAD-model of the above magnetic screen. SLF parameters are as follows: laser power from 160 to 190 W, layer scanning speed from 500 to 700 mm/s and temperature inside the laser spot from 2,900 to 3,000°C. Spreading of each layer is carried out with a ceramic blade.
EFFECT: obtaining material with residual induction Br not less than 0_42 T, coercive force Hc not more than 3_5 A/m, maximum magnetic permeability μmax of not less than 30,000 Gs/Oe.
