SUBSTANCE: subject of the invention is automatic coffee machine (1) comprising control unit (60) and hopper (10) for coffee beans, having lower wall (14) located above coffee grinder (40), wherein said automatic coffee machine (1) comprises device (20) for determining a low level of coffee beans in hopper (10) for coffee beans, which, when the low level is reached, generates and transmits to control unit (60) a coffee beans shortage signal. In accordance with the invention, upon reaching the intermediate level exceeding the low level, the level determining device (20) generates and transmits to control unit (60) a signal for replenishing the stock of coffee beans, wherein control unit (60) comprises warning device (62, 63, 64), which is configured so as to provide a user with a coffee bean replenishment signal and a coffee bean shortage signal, besides, control unit (60) issues permission to start coffee preparation process, despite the fact that coffee beans replenishment signal has been issued, and issues prohibition of coffee preparation process start after output of beans shortage signal.

EFFECT: elimination of the above disadvantages, for which it is necessary to develop an automatic coffee machine, which would be characterized by simplicity and ergonomics in operation, which will make it possible to obtain a product of high quality.
