FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and can be used for extraction of solid minerals from the bottom of water areas. Autonomous extraction device includes grab bucket with jaws and walls from elastic material, gas generator located in container with gas generator, electric motor with electronic control unit and accumulator, flexible cavity with radio beacon and coupling unit located on container. Container is connected by means of a cable-rope to a hinged-folding grab bucket, the jaws of which are hinged on the head having a hole. All hinged joints of the bucket are equipped with closers, and the elastic material fixed on the jaws, which forms the bucket walls, in the unfolded state has an umbrella-like shape, at the same time the flexible cavity is located on the container. Polypropylene fabric is used as elastic material of grab bucket walls.

EFFECT: reduction of dimensions of the device for independent extraction of minerals from the bottom of water areas in a transport position, provision of its reliable arrangement at the bottom of the water area during production and increase of its container ratio.
