FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in radio monitoring means, radio direction finders, as well as similar means and systems in which radio signals of radio-frequency sources are detected in conditions of noise of unknown intensity. In an adaptive two-threshold detector of signals of radio-frequency sources placed on mobile carriers, additionally, a cyclic autocorrelation function of the signal level is calculated and the modulus of its change is continuously compared with a decision threshold with subsequent tracking of stability of the cyclic autocorrelation function in a non-stationary state.
EFFECT: reduced time for making a decision on the mobility of a radio-frequency source due to automatic fixation of the moment of transition of the signal level of the radio-frequency source, which is a stationary random process for a stationary radio-frequency source with constant radiation power on the background of noise in the receiving channel, into a non-stationary state and tracking its presence in this state.
