SUBSTANCE: in the method, air-dry samples of chernozem are moistened to moisture content of 40–42%, held at said moisture content for 10–14 days, then frozen for 1–2 days and thawed for a day in natural conditions at temperature of 22–25°C.
EFFECT: method provides natural recovery of the state of soil gels and properties of air-dry soil samples.
