METHOD OF TREATING LESIONS OF ORAL MUCOSA IN LOCALIZED BULLOUS PEMPHIGOID Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61N5/67 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to physiotherapy, dermatology and dentistry, and aims at treating oral mucosal lesions in localized bullous pemphigoid. Low-intensity laser radiation at wave length 0.63 mcm is applied to lesions: with movement of the emitter along a spiral from the periphery to the centre of the lesion with the capture of healthy tissue, by 1–2 cm along the perimeter of the pathological lesion, at distance of 10 cm from the optical attachment to the irradiated surface, in a continuous mode, with laser radiation power of 5 mW, exposure time on one lesion of 2–5 minutes. Total exposure time on all lesions does not exceed 10 minutes; the therapeutic course is 5 daily procedures.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness due to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory and analgesic effect of low-intensity laser radiation.
