FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: method of preparing a self-propelled artillery piece for operation at low temperatures, at which warm air heating is performed from an electric heater-hair dryer through a system of air ducts from thermoplastic elastomer. At the connection points of the air duct system and the heated elements, overheating control sensors are installed, and power is supplied from the base chassis or a standard self-contained unit, or from an external power supply source.
