FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method for automated measurement of barrel oscillations and control of artillery piece firing consists in the fact that at high rate of firing, barrel oscillations are measured in automated mode from specified direction of firing after firing. For this purpose, motion sensor (accelerometre) installed on muzzle part of gun barrel is used. Oscillations of muzzle part of barrel are measured on a real time basis, information is sent to computer for processing, and command for another shot is generated in automated mode with minimum deviations of barrel muzzle end from specified position.

EFFECT: optimised combination of rate and close pattern of artillery piece shooting by specified index of target destruction efficiency, improved grouping of firing, automation of measurement process on a real time basis.
