FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of zeolite adsorbent production. Method of obtaining NaY zeolite includes preparation of water mixture from oxides of sodium, silica and aluminium, which contains 1-5.0 M of phenylene diamine, hesating mixture to temperature of crystallisation, exposure at said temperature until crystals are obtained and separation of crystals from solution. Mole ratios of oxides in mixture constitute: Na2O/SiO2 1.6-2.2; SiO2/Al2O3 1.5-5; H2O/Na2O 70-150.
EFFECT: invention ensures obtaining zeolite of faujasite structure - NaY with SiO2/Al2O3 ratio higher than 3,1 and with size of crystals not less than 20 mcm.
