FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of beneficiation of minerals, in particular to the beneficiation of poor silver-containing sulphide ores and stale tailings of tin ores, and can be used in flotation extraction of non-ferrous and noble metals from technogenic objects (deposits) in mining industry. Method for flotation beneficiation of silver-containing stale tailings from tin ore beneficiation comprises bulk flotation of sulphides in the presence of collector to produce bulk sulphide concentrate and tailings. Obtained collective sulphide concentrate is ground to size class of 95% less than 0.038 mm with its subsequent flotation in an alkaline medium of pH 10.5–12, created by lime, in the presence of a collector and a depressor. Isopropyl ethyl thionocarbamate – Z-200 in amount of 5–10 g/t is used as collector in bulk flotation of sulphides and flotation of bulk sulphide concentrate. Depressor used is an iron sulphide depressor containing sodium cyanide. Collective flotation of sulphides is carried out for at least 12 minutes, and flotation of the crushed bulk sulphide concentrate is carried out for at least 4 minutes. Collective flotation of sulphides is carried out additionally in the presence of liquid glass of not less than 200 g/t and a foaming agent, which is methyl isobutyl carbinol – MIBC in an amount of not less than 100 g/t.

EFFECT: increasing recovery of silver into sulphide concentrate during flotation of stale tin ore tailings.
