FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical contactless measurements and is used to calibrate videogrammetric systems for determining parameters of moving objects. Essence of the proposed solution is as follows. Videogrammetric system is calibrated using a physical pendulum performing plane-parallel free damped oscillations. Measured values of the pendulum motion parameters are obtained by frame-by-frame digital processing of images of the physical pendulum formed by the calibrated videogrammetric system. Actual values of speed and displacement vector of physical pendulum at required moment of time are determined by specified parameters of pendulum depending on duration of oscillations, then the metrological characteristics of the calibrated videogrammetric system are determined.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining metrological characteristics of a photogrammetric system.
