FIELD: medicine; experimental oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates specifically to methods of inhibiting growth of tumor cells of prostate adenocarcinoma cancer in vitro. Tumor cells are exposed to a low-temperature non-equilibrium plasma jet using atmospheric air as a working gas with source parameters: pulse voltage of 15 kV, pulse duration 1 mcs, air flow 0.05 g/s at rate of 3 ml/min, pulse repetition frequency in range from 0.5 to 4.2 kHz, exposure time 120 s and repetition rate of 1 to 2.
EFFECT: invention provides effective action on prostate tumor cells.
