FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: source is formed by the cylindrical tube of the dielectric material, with the inlet part - a path for the gas inlet and the outlet part - a nozzle for the plasma outlet. The source comprises a pair of electrodes 4 and 5 connected to the pulsed power source and located on the outer tube surface at the distance from each other. The source further comprises an electrode 6 located on the inner cylindrical tube surface of the inlet part and an interdigitated electrode 7 connected thereto, inserted coaxially into the nozzle, wherein the parameters of the parts (length, radius, thickness, dielectric constant) are such that the electric capacity of the inlet part is larger than the capacity of the outlet part.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining the plasma jets of the atmospheric pressure in the public and cheap gases at the reduced gas consumption.
