FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of activated mineral powder, and can be used in preparation of asphalt concrete mixture. Mineral powder for asphalt concrete mixture, activated by grinding natural raw materials, contains as natural raw materials liparite and basalt rocks of Sinarsky crushed stone pit in the Katai district of the Kurgan region, in mineralogical composition of which there are alkali metals, which are dried in a drying drum before grinding, activation by grinding is carried out in a mill to a particle size of not less than 80 mcm, and powder is additionally activated with viscous bitumen BND 130/120 or BND 200/300 in amount of 1.5 to 3.5 % of powder weight when heated to 160–200 °C.
EFFECT: high water resistance and adsorption activity of the mineral powder.
