FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for selective removal of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide from methane-containing gas mixtures by absorption and can be used in gas, oil and other chemical industries. Described is a method of increasing efficiency of removing acid gases from natural gas by using a combined absorption system containing an aqueous solution of methyldiethanolamine and an ionic compound of bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-dimethylammonium taurate.
EFFECT: increased sorption capacity of aqueous solutions of methyldiethanolamine with respect to CO2 and H2S.
