FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to transformer converters of the number of phases, which enable conversion of a three-phase system of voltages and currents into a multiphase system of voltages and currents. Proposed three-phase-multiphase transformer of the number of phases can be used in multiphase power transmission systems, in the structure of converting devices (inverters and rectifiers), for power supply of multiphase electrical machines, as well as other multiphase devices. Purpose of the invention is to simplify the manufacturing technology, reduce the unbalance of resistance of the phase windings of the three-phase-multiphase transformer of the number of phases. Technical result is achieved by the fact that on each rod of the multi-rod core of the transformer converter of the number of phases, regardless of the number of phases of the secondary winding, there are four coils (three coils for three-phase primary winding and one for multi-phase secondary winding), which simplifies the device manufacturing technology. Each of the three phases of the primary winding consists of several series-connected coils, one arranged on different rods of the core. Total number of turns of the three coils of the primary winding, placed on one rod of the core, is equal to each other, as well as the same total number of turns of the coils of each phase of the primary winding. This allows reducing unbalance of electric resistances of device windings. Transformer converter of the number of phases with the proposed design of the active part makes it possible to provide a multiphase symmetric system of voltages with any number of phases of the secondary winding greater than three.
EFFECT: simplification of manufacturing technology, reduction of unbalance of electric resistances of phase windings of special transformer.
