FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: transformer flyback constant voltage converter with passive clamping relates to electrical engineering and can be used in secondary power supply systems for conversion, regulation and stabilization of constant output voltage, galvanically separated from input constant voltage. Device comprises transformer 2, the beginning of primary winding 1 of which is connected to the positive pole of the input constant voltage source, and the end of primary winding 1 through the power control key 3 is connected to the negative pole of the input constant voltage source, which forms a common bus. Parallel to primary winding 1 of transformer 2 there is a passive clamping element made up of series-connected diode 5 and capacitor 4 with parallel connected resistor 6. With the end of secondary winding 7 of transformer 2, the cathode of rectifying diode 8 is connected, the anode of which is connected through linear inductance 9 to the beginning of secondary winding 7, and to the common point of connection of diode 8 and linear inductance 9 the anode of diode 10 is connected, the cathode of which is connected to one of the outputs of capacitor 11, the second output of which is connected to the beginning of winding 7. Load 12 is connected in parallel to capacitor 11.
EFFECT: generation of constant output voltage from constant input voltage, elimination of gap from transformer, provision of partially symmetrical reversal magnetization of transformer core.
