FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to design of ship hull bow lines. Ship bow topsides shape with increased completeness of hull lines is made with possibility of formed by right and left sides surfaces, which are connected on the stem and located on the section from the structural waterline of the vessel to the upper edge of the boards having a wave-reflecting surface. Surfaces of the right and left sides are made each with a ledge recessed inside the hull, located within the fore end along the side from the stem to the stern, it comprises horizontally oriented surface in its lower part connected with side surface by outer edge and vertically oriented surface in recessed part of ledge connected by its lower edge with horizontally oriented surface. Vertically oriented surface of the recessed part of the ledge is connected by its upper edge to the wave-reflecting surface made in the form of a visor.
EFFECT: higher running and seaworthiness of the ship.
