SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the systems for simulating the smoking process. The atomizer for the electronic steam delivery system comprises a heater for evaporating the aerosolized substrate material and a porous material portion for transferring the aerosolized substrate material to the heater. The heater has an elongated shape and is made of a flat element of electrically resistive material having a length, a width and two pairs of opposite edges, containing two major edges substantially parallel to the length and two minor edges substantially parallel to the width. The flat member is bent to form an elongated shape of the heater such that the edges of one of the pairs of opposite edges are adjacent to each other. The curved flat element limits the volume in which the porous material part is placed. A cartridge and an electronic steam delivery system are announced.

EFFECT: simplifying the design of the atomizer without reducing the amount of heated material.
