SUBSTANCE: aerosol delivery system comprises a reservoir for containing an aerosol precursor material, an inlet and an outlet, each of which is fluidly connected to the reservoir and each of which is additionally configured to provide at least a liquid-tight seal for holding the aerosol precursor material in tank, a control unit configured to supply the pressurized fluid to the tank through the inlet to increase the pressure inside the tank relative to the pressure external to the tank to cause the aerosol precursor material to exit the tank through the outlet.

EFFECT: leakage of the source liquid to form an aerosol is prevented.
