FIELD: construction materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials, particularly to production of concrete products and road surfaces, particularly from sulphur concrete. Method of producing sulphur concrete consists in that mineral filler and industrial sulphur as a binder are dosed into a mixer, mixed at ambient temperature, then the mixture is unloaded from the mixer into the moulds and exposed to electromagnetic radiation to ensure the transition of technical sulphur from the solid state to the liquid state, then the mixture is compacted using a vibrator with subsequent cooling and setting of the binder due to contact with the mineral filler. Exposure to electromagnetic radiation is carried out with a power of not more than 10 kW with a frequency higher than 60 kHz for 2–30 minutes, while the mineral filler is heated.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing sulphur concrete.
