FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, namely to methods of loading ship diesel-generator units (DGU). In the method based on the determination of the regression dependence of the specific fuel consumption (SFC) of the DGU on the generated electric power PG and power factor cosϕ of the ship power plant (SPP) at a given total load of SPP and input of measurement results into computer model containing characteristics of dependence of SFC on power and power factor for DGU, according to which, at the current technical state of the DGU, the area corresponding to the minimum SFC is determined, in the steady-state operating mode of the DGU, the electric power PG is determined, at that, if the value of PG falls outside range of 65–85% of the rated power, the difference is determined Δ (kW) between the current value of PG and the value of power P0, which corresponds to the minimum SFC of the DGU, after which a load device with power consumption Δ (kW), with possibility of its adjustment, is connected to the DGU, wherein energy Δ (kW) are stored in storage batteries of the loading device.
EFFECT: possibility to maintain optimum loading degree of autonomous DGU, at which minimum specific fuel consumption is ensured.
