SUBSTANCE: using the AP of the first MLD device with the AP, generating the individually addressed traffic indication information used to indicate whether the first multichannel device without an access point (MLD without an AP), associated with a first MLD with an AP, downlink individually addressed traffic and whether a second MLD without an AP, associated with a second MLD with an AP, has downlink individually addressed traffic, and the second MLD with AP is the MLD with AP, to which the non-transmitting AP belongs, and the non-transmitting AP is in the set of multiple basic service set identifiers (BSSID), in which the first AP is located, wherein MLD without AP is station multichannel device; and sending, using the first AP of the first MLD with AP, indication information of individually addressed traffic.

EFFECT: enabling indication of downlink individually addressed traffic for multichannel devices associated with multichannel access point devices (MLD with AP).
