SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air conditioning, ventilation equipment for recovery of heat or cold of air coming out of a room. Heat exchanger is made in the form of one vertical heat exchange column, inside the housing of which there are located in series from top to bottom: upper layer of heat exchange nozzle with sprinkler, for supply of intermediate heat carrier; hydraulic lock for separation of two air flows; lower layer of heat exchange nozzle with sprinkler for supply of intermediate heat carrier supplied through hydraulic lock; salt solution tank is connected to pump for supply of intermediate heat carrier via pipeline to heat exchange column from top to bottom into counterflow, which is supplied from bottom-up to each layer of nozzle by pumps of two air flows with different temperature.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the heat exchanger, simplified design, reduced time for reaching the operating mode.
